Welcome to one of the first modern companies dedicated to the passion of custom made cigar box style guitars. Mojo Hand Guitars is a small, relatively new Florida based entity who thoroughly enjoys making custom guitars, amplifiers and accessories from all types of cigar boxes, new and old. We really enjoy our work product and we enjoy making you happy with the designs and the sound that you desire.

Our guitars make a great and long lasting, quality gift, or a way for you to learn how to play the cigar box guitar. We have basic inexpensive and intricate, expensive models. We spend many hours thinking about the design and building each guitar by hand. We strive very hard to design and build the exact look and feel that you want. We build them with or without frets, acoustic style or electric, with one to six strings. Each precision instrument is carefully made to your specifications in order to provide the most comfortable fit. The finishes we use give the instrument a beautiful and long lasting look.

Countless numbers of cigar box guitars have been created by children and adults alike, especially when money was scarce, and the passion for folk music was rampant. Those folks used wooden boxes, broom stick handles, screen wire for strings and whatever else they could find in order to to create their working instruments. We strive to keep that era intact in the modern world of technology and gumption.
